How to remove your vacuum pump exhaust filter ?

The disassembly and assembly of the vacuum pump filter also refers to the replacement and installation of the filter. Many people think that this process is very simple, and some small problems are often overlooked. So, what are the detailed steps for the replacement and installation? The working capacity of the vacuum pump exhaust filter element (oil mist separator filter element ) is measured by the change in the current of the drive motor. If the working pressure indicated by the air pressure gauge of the exhaust filter element is lower than normal, or the current consumed by the drive motor is less than normal, because one of the exhaust filters is damaged, please replace the exhaust filter.

Vacuum pump exhaust filter remove steps :

Note: When disassembling or installing the vacuum pump exhaust filter element, the spring of the filter will pop out. When solving the spring of the exhaust filter, be sure to wear protective glasses.

① Make sure that the mechanical pump is turned off and locked to avoid any accidental switching on the power supply to start the pump.

 ② Before disconnecting the pipeline or the connection of the air inlet, make sure that it is vented to atmospheric pressure

 ③ If necessary, remove the exhaust duct

④ Open the exhaust port cover from the oil mist separation box

⑤ Unscrew the spring in the middle of the oil separators filter, but it is not necessary to remove it

⑥ Press the oil mist filter spring at the concave groove with a common tool, and then turn

 ⑦ Remove the exhaust filter spring from the oil mist separation box

 ⑧ Pull out the vacuum pump exhaust filter from the oil mist separation box
